I personally reviewed the HP OmniBook X Flip back in early July, and I quite liked it. It’s a versatile laptop; one that adeptly blends performance, portability, and creative capability into one package.

HP’s model boasts a premium design that echoes the aesthetic of high-end computers, yet manages to maintain a unique personality via thoughtful choices. It has a lightweight chassis, measuring just 0.61 inches thick closed and weighing 4.15 pounds. The 2K touchscreen is positively stunning, delivering color-rich visuals that’ll make both creative pros and casual users smile.

Under the hood, the HP OmniBook X Flip–> is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 258B processor, Intel Arc graphics card, and 16GB of RAM, allowing users to enjoy a reliable midrange performance. It’s the fastest computer in the world, but for everyday work, it’s quite solid. Other notable features include powerful down-firing speakers, a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth on-screen animations, and a 1TB SSD.

How I rated this deal

As per ZDNET’s rating system, I grant this deal a 4/5 editor’s deal rating. $400 off is a roughly 35% discount, give or take a few dollars. It’s a great laptop that I would recommend to just about everybody. The version that I reviewed in July ended up being one of my favorite products of 2025.
