I’ve tried more streaming devices than I can count over the past decade, but the $19 deal on the Roku Streaming Stick Plus<!–> is probably the best value for money I’ve ever seen. This is a big statement – yet I’m prepared to back it up. The Roku Streaming Stick Plus is a 4K streaming device currently available at a 52% discount, courtesy of a Black Friday deal.

For only $19, you can get a Roku Streaming Stick Plus to upgrade your television to the Roku smart TV platform, widely recognized as one of the most user-friendly interfaces available. This is a deal I’d jump on without a second thought if I didn’t already have one of these very Rokus on my TV at home. The Roku Stick Plus was only released this year, and it’s one of the best streaming devices I’ve ever used.
I have Fire TV and Roku devices at home, as well as a Google TV Streamer–>, and the Roku UI is the cleanest, most intuitive of them all. It’s perfect for both tech-savvy people and guests visiting for a weekend who may not be familiar with it.
The Streaming Stick Plus runs significantly faster than older Roku sticks; apps load quicker, and the platform is more responsive. This device works wonderfully, even on older TVs that may run slower as they age, and it supports 4K resolution, so it’s already future-proof in case you decide to upgrade your TV down the line.

I have a 60-inch LG TV that I bought a handful of years ago, which has slowed down with time and just isn’t as snappy as it was five years ago. Adding the new Roku Streaming Stick Plus breathed new life into it, as I can still enjoy my TV’s gorgeous 4K image with a more responsive UI that offers a faster performance.
The Roku Streaming Stick Plus<!–> is also portable and compact, as it’s powered by your TV’s USB port, so you don’t add more cable clutter to your living room. This means you can take it with you when planning to stay at a hotel or Airbnb, simply plug it into the TV, and connect it to the Wi-Fi to enjoy the same streaming experience you have at home. The Streaming Stick Plus is also slim, so it doesn’t block other HDMI ports surrounding it or protrude from the back of your TV.
How I rated this deal
This is the best price I’ve seen for the Roku Streaming Stick Plus, so I gave this 52% deal a rating of 5/5. For just $19, you get a fast, 4K-capable streaming device, especially if your current smart TV setup is laggy or nonexistent. Upgrading to the latest 4K Roku Streaming Stick Plus is not only one of the most affordable ways to enhance your streaming experience, but it’s also one of the most future-proof and user-friendly options.
This deal is part of Roku’s Black Friday sale, so we can expect it to run through at least this weekend. If the Roku Streaming Stick Plus goes back up in price after the weekend, it’ll likely drop back down during Black Friday.
