Sign up for T-Mobile 5G Home Internet and get up to $300 cash back – here’s how

If you’ve been looking to switch internet providers, T-Mobile has a deal for you: When you sign up for T-Mobile 5G Home Internet, you can get a prepaid Mastercard gift card of up to $300, along with other discounts — especially if you’re already a T-Mobile customer.

If you already have a T-Mobile phone line, you can add a 5G Home Internet plan for as low as $35 a month when you enroll in AutoPay and a voice line. That’s a $15 a month savings when you bundle.

Here’s the fine print: To get the gift card of up to $300, you have to activate your account online<!–>, not in a store, and then register your code within 30 days of activating your new Home Internet line. You’ll need to allow 14 weeks for the gift card to arrive, and it will expire after 6 months.

There are three different T-Mobile 5G Home Internet plans. All come with a five-year price guarantee, so long as you enroll in AutoPay and have a voice line, plus taxes and fees:

  • Rely (base level, unlimited data): $35/month with a T-Mobile phone plan; $50 without a phone plan
  • Amplified (includes faster speeds, advanced cyber security, and 24/7 tech support): $45/month with a T-Mobile phone plan; $60 without a phone plan
  • All-In (includes all of the above, plus a mesh Wi-Fi extender and a free subscription to Hulu and Paramount+): $55/month with a T-Mobile phone plan; $70/month without a phone plan

Note that the $15 savings per month will come in monthly bill credits, and credits will stop if you cancel any lines or change plans.

The gift card amounts are as follows: $100 if you sign up for a Rely plan, $200 for an Amplified plan, and $300 for an All-In plan.

How I rated this deal

This deal bundling your phone line and home internet plans can knock $15 off of your monthly bill for five years, and get you a gift card of at least $100, so I’m rating it a 4/5.
