The emergence of generative AI models has optimized working professionals’ workflows across many industries. This new You.com offering seeks to further team collaboration when using these models.

On Wednesday, You.com introduced multiplayer AI through an upgrade to its Team plan. The plan is now self-serve and allows users to share all Pro features with their team, input larger file uploads, experience a larger context window, and, most notably, collaborate on custom Agents.

You.com’s custom AI agents refer to its customizable AI assistant feature, similar to Google’s Gems and ChatGPT custom GPTs, which allow users to create a custom assistant for specific or repetitive tasks to maximize their workflow in their personal or professional lives.

Now, You.com has updated its agents to facilitate collaboration in a team setting. With the multiplayer update, teams can collaborate to build or share custom agents to optimize each other’s workflows and work closely on particular tasks or “exchange chat threads, access unlimited file uploads with no data retention concerns, and more,” according to the release.

With its new multiplayer update, You.com shares it aims to cater to knowledge workers and firms (specifically in finance, biotech, tech, marketing, law, and academia), many of whom rely on detailed and meticulous research and analysis.

Prior to this update, You.com already offered advanced proprietary AI assistants, Research Assistant and Genius Assistant, to provide users with factual research analysis and problem-solving help.

A You.com standout feature allows users to access various large language models (LLMs), such as GPT-4o, Claude 3 Opus, Llama 3, and Gemini 1.5 Flash, in one place to easily evaluate each model without purchasing multiple subscriptions. The multiplayer addition makes this feature evermore beneficial so teams can view and test the best models in one place and avoid opening several applications.

You.com now offers team and enterprise site licenses starting at $25/month per seat. You can get started by visiting enterprise site licenses here. Although the price may seem steep, it is the same as the ChatGPT Team subscription, which costs $25 per month/person.
