You can save $150 on the OnePlus 13 at Amazon right now – but there’s a catch

Kerry Wan/ZDNET

Amazon is a new promotional sale for the OnePlus 13. Right now, you can buy the 512GB OnePlus 13 for only $850. That’s lower than what it was during Amazon Prime Day when it cost $880. There is a catch — this deal only applies to the Arctic Dawn (white) smartphone. The Black Eclipse and Midnight Ocean (blue) options are more expensive at $930. If you want to save even more money, the 256GB OnePlus 13<!–> has dropped down to $830. Similarly, this deal is restricted to the Black Eclipse color option.

Through Amazon’s trade-in program, you can save hundreds of dollars on the OnePlus 13. For example, if you trade in an iPhone 16 Pro Max, you save $725 on your purchase.

The OnePlus 13 is the company’s latest flagship smartphone, and it is a top-notch device. It even earned ZDNET’s coveted Editors’ Choice Award for April 2025. We praise the model “because it nails all the fundamentals of a great smartphone experience while leading the market in some regards,” ZDNET editor Kerry Wan wrote in his review.

It features the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 6,000mAh Silicon NanoStack battery, 80W fast charging, and a high resistance rating of IP69. This means the phone is completely sealed against dust and can survive brief submersion underwater. At a glance, this seems excessive, but according to ZDNET Managing Editor Kerry Wan, “it’s a benefit that users will appreciate when they least expect it”.

Photography is another area where the OnePlus 13 shines. Its triple-lens system captures bright, highly detailed images, although its post-processing can create overly saturated pictures. I also can’t forget the stylish design, which flaunts a vegan leather backing that makes the phone visually striking and comfortable to hold.

How I rated this deal

As per ZDNET’s rating system, I give all of the deals mentioned a score of 2/5. These are all solid discounts. Shaving off 15% the phone’s original amount is always welcomed. I suggest you jump at this opportunity before it ends. However, I have seen better. The OnePlus 13 was, at one point, $250 off. I hope to see the steep price drop very soon.
