With the summer season now upon us, I’ve swapped to my Moto Razr smartphone. This tiny foldable phone is perfect for your shorts’ pocket, and for carrying around outside. To improve the lightweight experience, I recently bought a new Clicks Keyboard for the Moto Razr<!–> and it’s a near perfect accessory for this phone.

Clicks cofounder, Michael Fisher (aka MrMobile), is a long time foldable phone user and I am sure that he was behind the push to design a Clicks Keyboard case for the Moto Razr.
Clicks currently offers the keyboard for the 2024 Razr Plus, Razr, Razr 50, and Razr 50 Ultra. In addition, a 2025 model works with the Razr Ultra, Razr Plus (2025), and Razr (2025). There were slight USB-C port changes made by Motorola, but the 2025 Clicks I purchased works perfectly with my 2024 Razr Plus smartphone.
Clicks for the iPhone and Google Pixel make the phone and keyboard a rather long piece of hardware to manage. The beauty of the Razr model is that the package is still quite pocketable when folded, and now you have a full QWERTY keyboard to text with, right on the cover display of the Razr. This “RazrBerry” configuration is lovely and supports quick and accurate written communications without even unfolding the phone.
The Clicks Keyboard for Razr comes in two pieces with a top cover piece that fits over the display to offer some protection and a consistent design, however you can leave the top part off if you want to save a few ounces. Personally, I found that the top cover impacts my ability to swipe on the edges of the display so I leave it off most of the time.
The bottom half is rigid with no flex required to slide in your phone. The keyboard is the same as the newest design found on the Google Pixel 9 with a Clicks button that is red. In addition to using the keyboard to send text messages and email, I’ve been using the space bar to quickly scroll down websites.

Flip open the Razr to enjoy a glorious massive screen with no virtual keyboard on the display to hog up screen space. With the Razr, I have a better display experience than just about every other standard phone thanks to the 6.9-inch main display and Clicks Keyboard accessory.
One trick I learned since my Clicks for Pixel test is that you can download and install the Key Mapper & Floating Buttons app to create an exhaustive number of keyboard shortcuts. To start with, I have the meta left key and M for Messages, T for Telegram, and K for Google Keep Notes. Soon I will rarely ever have to touch the cover display or main display on my Razr.
ZDNET’s buying advice
Clicks continues to expand its keyboard accessory lineup beyond the iPhone, and the Clicks for the Moto Razr–>
may be the perfect pairing for Razr owners. While the cover display on the Razr is useful, the Clicks Keyboard takes things to the next level with the ability to quickly enter text and help you spend more time with your phone in the closed position.
The price is right for this keyboard and if you’re considering one for your Razr, I highly recommend you purchase the 2025 model — even if you have a 2024 Razr since it will work if you upgrade to the latest and greatest Motorola flip phone.
