Save over $200 on the OnePlus 13 and get a free gift – here’s how

Kerry Wan/ZDNET

OnePlus is holding a new promotion for its latest flagship phone, the OnePlus 13, where you can save up to $240 on the phone that earned a ZDNET Editor’s Choice Award this April. Be aware that this deal is only applicable to the 512GB SSD model. The 256GB smartphone has its own sale, which I’ll get into momentarily.

To save $240 on purchasing the 512GB OnePlus 13, you will first have to take advantage of the company’s trade-in program. You can trade in any phone in any condition and receive a recycling reward that slashes $100 off the price tag. Next, you’ll have to enter the code “JULY25” at checkout. to remove an extra $100 — yes, these two discounts stack.

Additionally, OnePlus is allowing buyers to pick out one free gift from a group of three: the OnePlus 13 Sandstone, Aramid Fiber, and Wood Grain case. The Sandstone case normally retails for $25, whereas the Aramid Fiber and Wood Grain options cost $40. This deal is applicable to all three color options: Black Eclipse, Midnight Ocean (blue), or Arctic Dawn (white).

So, at the end of everything, the OnePlus 13 will cost around $800.

When it comes to the 256GB OnePlus, you can’t use the code mentioned earlier; however, you can still take advantage of the trade-in to get $100 off the price tag and get a free magnetic case. Either way, you’ll also be paying $800 for the phone. I recommend opting for the 512GB device since it costs the same.

The OnePlus 13 is the company’s latest flagship smartphone, and it is a top-notch device. It even earned ZDNET’s Editors’ Choice Award for April 2025. We praise the model “because it nails all the fundamentals of a great smartphone experience while leading the market in some regards,” ZDNET editor Kerry Wan wrote in his review.

It features the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 6,000mAh Silicon NanoStack battery, 80W fast charging, and a high resistance rating of IP69. This means the phone is completely sealed against dust and can survive brief submersion underwater. At a glance, this seems excessive, “but it’s a benefit that users will appreciate when they least expect it,” Wan wrote.

Photography is another area where the OnePlus 13 shines. Its triple-lens system captures bright, highly detailed images, although its post-processing can create overly saturated pictures. I also can’t forget the stylish design, which flaunts a vegan-leather backing that makes the phone visually striking and comfortable to hold.

How I rated this deal

As per ZDNET’s rating system, I give this deal a score of 3/5. The 512GB OnePlus 13 with a Wood Grain case normally retails for $1,025. $250 is about 25% off. Shaving off nearly a quarter of that amount is a solid discount, and I suggest you jump at this opportunity before it ends.
