As ZDNET’s mobile accessory expert, I have a mountain of mobile gear from MagSafe battery packs keeping my essential tech powered up no matter where I am, and Anker’s 3-1 wireless charger<!–> has just taken my top spot.
The MagGo 3-1 wireless foldable charger–> makes charging my iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods Pro a breeze, and it’s bite-sized form factor is the best option I’ve tried for power and practicality.
This charger is similar in size to a pair of AirPods Pro and uses a three-pad design to fold flat into multiple MagSafe wireless charging pads, then flips back together into a macaron-like ball you can toss into your carry-on. Starting at $80, it comes in four colors: Pink Aura, Black Stone, Aurora White, or Teal Oasis, with a USB-C cable and wall adapter included.

I’ve tested plenty of other MagSafe wireless chargers, and my longstanding favorite had been Anker’s 3-1 Wireless Charger and Stand<!–> for similar reasons. But after testing this Anker model, it’s quickly elevated to my top spot for it’s fun color options, ultra-small design, and practicality.
Anker vs Anker
Here’s the thing. I am fortunate enough to test a lot of MagSafe chargers, many of which are different configurations and styles of multi-chargers. I know not everyone can do that, so here’s the deal with all these 3-1 chargers on the market, many which come from the exact same brands.
The Anker MagGo Wireless 3-1 charger that I have personally been using prior to testing this macaron-like model also features 15W fast charging, has folding components, and can be traveled with. The biggest difference is instead of flipping out flat into three charger pads, the various components arrange in a phone stand.
Prior to testing this newer Anker charger, which was unveiled at IFA last year, the QDOS Snapstand was the most compact and slim foldable option I had tried. And it’s still slimmer than this Anker 3-1 model – but it’s also heavier.
every time. It comes in fun colors and is more lightweight than most competitors I’ve tried, which makes it the ultimate travel option.

But if you’re buying a 3-1 charger for the first time, I highly encourage you to consider a foldable 3-in-1 wireless charger than offers a stand feature. That way you can travel with it when you need to, but leave it at your bedside when you don’t. It’s the best ROI, in my opinion, unless you don’t want a phone stand at all.
