I’ve been an avid Kindle user for years, and I’ve witnessed Amazon discounting the e-readers during Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Prime Day. This event is no different, with every single model getting a discount. Additionally, Amazon unveiled two new Kindles at its hardware event, so older and just-as-capable devices get discounts during the October Prime Day as a result of these newer product launches.

I’ve tested the base model Kindle and recommend it to 95% of people interested in buying an e-reader. The battery life lasts weeks, it fits in my coat pocket, and it stores more e-books than you will ever read.
