I love tools, but as you are probably well aware, good tools are expensive — so any time that you can score a good deal, it’s well worth jumping on. And with Amazon Prime Day entering its second day, I noticed that there are some great DeWalt deals available.

Try as I might not to become a tool brand fanboy and fly the flag of one color over another, I’ve grown quite fond of DeWalt power tools. It’s a brand that delivers quality tools at fair prices. I’ve owned a whole bunch of different DeWalt-branded tools over the years that have been heavily used and abused — to the point where they occasionally get used as hammers — and they’re still going strong.
If you’re looking for a beginner setup or just to bulk up your home tool kit, consider this great deal on the DeWalt 20V MAX cordless drill and impact driver set<!–>, saving you 28% off the usual price on Amazon.
You get the cordless drill that has multiple speeds and even a hammer setting for concrete and masonry, an impact driver to handle all your heavy-duty fastening needs, two 2Ah batteries, a charger, and a neat and super durable tool bag (which I still use).
If you don’t want both parts, you can buy the drill–> or impact driver<!–> separately, for $78 and $129, respectively (a saving of 34% and 28%, respectively).
Both kits come with a 2Ah battery, charger, and the tool bag.
The DeWalt impact driver is a real workhorse of my toolkit.

Cordless tools are power hungry, but spare batteries are super pricey (and don’t waste your money on the generics or third-party of counterfeit ones, these are just awful). But fear not! It’s Amazon Prime Day, and the deals extend to batteries too!
A twin-pack of DeWalt 20V MAX 6 Ah batteries–> that normally retail for $279 has now been slashed by 30%, and are down to $195. The monster 9Ah DeWalt 20V/60V Flexvolt battery<!–> is down 9% to $182.
So, if you need a cordless power tool upgrade, this DeWalt two-pack combo–> is about as good as they get.

How I rated this deal
Being able to pick up this combo toolkit that normally costs $250 for $179, a 28%, is a very good and worthy discount. Not the biggest I’ve seen, but the biggest in a while. On top of that, the deals on the separate tools, and the batteries, are good, and a great option if you don’t want the whole kit or want to add more battery power to your toolkit.
