OnePlus is hosting an early autumn sales event, discounting many different products, one of which is the OnePlus Pad 2<!–>. And for a limited time, enter the code “HARVEST” at checkout and receive a $100 discount on the tablet. You’ll also receive a free Folio Case 2 (a $40 value) with purchase to keep your tablet looking new.
Plus, through the company’s trade-in program, you can get a bigger discount. You can trade in any device in any condition and shave an extra $50 off the OnePlus Pad 2.
Although the OnePlus Pad 2 is no longer the company’s flagship tablet (that title belongs to the OnePlus Pad 3), it is still well worth recommending.
Despite being an older model, it delivers top-notch performance thanks to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. This configuration handles demanding apps, mobile games, and multitasking. OnePlus’ HyperBoost optimizations ensure games run smoothly without stutters, while the large 9,510mAh battery provides all-day longevity. When recharging, the included 67W SuperVOOOC charger gets you back to 100% in under 90 minutes.
Review: OnePlus Pad 2
Another standout feature is its display. The OnePlus Pad 2–> hIt has a crisp 11.61-inch LCD with a resolution of 2,800 x 2,000 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 900 nits of brightness. In his review, ZDNET contributing writer Max Buondonno praised OnePlus for “calibrating the colors to appear accurate and properly saturated.”
Other notable features include OpenCanvas, which lets you run multiple apps in flexible layouts, and integration with OnePlus smartphones, which allows for notification syncing, clipboard sharing, and more.
How I rated this deal
As per ZDNET’s rating system, I grant the base deal a 2/5 editor’s deal rating. By base, I mean just the $100 discount. However, if you add the discount with the gift and the $50 off from the trade-in program, you’ll be saving $190 in total. So, if you combine everything, that score gets bumped up to a 4/5 editor’s deal rating. I recommend taking advantage of every price drop and gift that OnePlus offers, because it’s a great deal.
