Black Friday is just two days away, and T-Mobile is getting into the festivities by rolling out what the company calls the “Ultimate Apple Bundle.”
Starting today, new and existing T-Mobile customers will have the opportunity to receive an iPhone 17 Pro, an A16 iPad<!–>, and an Apple Watch SE 3–>, completely free of charge. Bought separately, those devices would cost around $2,000. You can choose to get all three devices, but if you don’t want all that tech, customers can instead select two or even just one of the offers — it depends on which deal you choose.
If you’re a Verizon customer (or interested in becoming one), that carrier is offering a similar bundle deal<!–> with no trade-in required, for the iPhone 17 Pro Max–>, Apple Watch Series 11, and iPad A16.

As is always the case with “free” device deals from carriers, it’s not really free outright, though over time, it’s still a great deal. To take advantage of this bundle deal, you’ll ned a device to trade in, and to sign up for a qualifying phone, tablet, and/or watch line. You’ll essentially get paid back for the devices over a period of two to three years through monthly bill credits, and you’ll still need to pay tax. Here are all the details.
To get the iPhone 17 Pro<!–> in either Cosmic Orange or Deep Blue, you’ll need to trade in an eligible device (in any condition) when choosing the Experience Beyond phone plan–> ($100 per month for a single line). This deal also extends to existing customers on the T-Mobile Go5G Next plan. You can get the phone paid for via 24-monthly bill credits (plus tax). There’s also a $35 device connection charge.

You can get the A16 iPad “when adding a tablet line on a qualifying plan” through 36 monthly bill credits (plus tax). For the Apple Watch SE 3, it’s a similar situation. You can get the wearable “when adding a watch line via 36 monthly bill credits” (plus tax).
What’s great about the Ultimate Bundle is that you have the alternate option of receiving a discount on another product. You could instead:
- Get up to $1,100 off any iPhone 17 model or iPhone Air
- Get up to $500 off any eligible iPad model
- Or get up to $300 off any eligible Apple Watch model.
With deals like these, it’s no wonder it’s called the Ultimate Apple Bundle, but things don’t stop there.

New customers who switch over to the company’s Essentials plans can get four lines at $100 a month and four iPhone 17 smartphones for free. Additionally, people who sign up for T-Mobile’s 5G Home Internet<!–> plan receive one month of service for free, as well as a $300 virtual prepaid Mastercard. However, to obtain the prepaid Mastercard, you must sign up for the company’s All-in plan–>.
It’s deals on top of other deals, all coalescing together to become one of the best Black Friday promotions out there in 2025.
How I rated this deal
As per ZDNET’s rating system, I give this deal a perfect score of 5 out of 5. The free iPhone alone is worthy of the perfect score, but here you get three of Apple’s latest devices for free. I don’t think any other Black Friday comes close to the value that this provides.
The iPhone 17 Pro is one of the company’s flagship smartphones. It houses the powerful A19 Pro chipset, supports Wi-Fi 7, ensuring lightning-fast connection speeds, and arguably features the best camera system on an iPhone ever. If you’ve been looking for an opportunity to upgrade, I highly recommend the iPhone 17 Pro.
