If you’re constantly on the hunt for a low-heat, high-reward hairstyling tool, you probably know that the Dyson Airwrap is the styling tool to beat, and it has been for a while. The Airwrap uses air and Dyson’s top-of-the-line technology to style your hair flawlessly and with ease (if you’ve got a vendetta against heat tools, like me).

Despite its popularity, the Airwrap is still an expensive buy, but right now thanks to Amazon’s Cyber Monday deals, you can save up to $110 on select models of the Dyson Airwrap<!–> – a fantastic 18% off deal we rarely see available. Amazon’s discounts are on the Complete Long for Straight to Wavy Hair bundle–> for $490 (save $110) in the the new special edition Strawberry Pink colorway. The Complete Diffuse for Curly to Coily Hair bundle<!–> is also on sale for $490. The classic colorway is not on sale.
During this year’s October Prime Day, the Airwrap was available for $100 off at Amazon, as was it during the last several days during Black Friday 2024, so this current 18% off offer is actually about $10 better than those savings. Plus, these discounts are close to the best-ever savings, and they’re available on the special edition colorways to boot, which is why I still think this Dyson Airwrap deal is a great buy, especially as a gift.
The Airwrap is designed for multiple hair types, lengths, and styles. Three heat settings and a cold shot option equip the main body. The airflow temperature is measured more than 40 times a second to prevent extreme heat damage and breakage as you dry; you can easily curl, shape, smooth, and hide flyaways with no extreme heat during styling.
Compared to other hair styling tools, which use an excessive amount of heat to create your desired results, the Dyson Airwrap leaves your hair with less heat damage thanks to the Coanda effect. So what’s the Coanda effect? Basically, the Airwrap’s barrel is circular, and air and water, according to the Coanda effect, are more likely to wrap around a curved surface, drying your wet hair more effectively.
Specially engineered attachments – including barrels, brushes, and the Coanda smoothing dryer – harness enhanced airflow for supreme styling. The styling tool is great for both beginners and hair-styling experts. One Amazon customer said that she was “inept” at styling her own hair, but this tool made it easy for her to get salon-quality results. Another reviewer said that the Airwrap dries her hair far quicker than other styling tools she’s used.
This is a great gift for any hair-styling-obsessed family member or friend who doesn’t already have one, and ZDNET Editor Sabrina Ortiz is living proof: “I was gifted the Dyson Airwrap two Christmases ago, since I was influenced into making it the first thing on my Christmas wishlist. I can totally say it’s worth the hype. With one tool you can straighten, curl, and blow dry your hair. Do I need to say more?”
Snag this hair-tastic Dyson Airwrap–> deal while it’s still available (trust me, it doesn’t happen often) and cross off an item on your holiday shopping list now.
As a commerce and shopping expert, I can comfortably confirm this price for the Dyson Airwrap as a pretty good deal. The last time I saw the Airwrap on sale at a retailer like Amazon was back in October during Prime Big Deal Days, where it was discounted by $100. This offer is $10 bettere than that, and for special edition models, I think that’s really good.
And though it is not as sweet as some prior deals, the Airwrap does not see savings throughout the year as often as other tech products, so any amount of savings on any model is a bonus.
It is possible that the Airwrap could drop lower, but I wouldn’t surmise seeing any savings over $140 dollars, and that’s an exceptionally generous estimate. If you’re holiday shopping early for yourself or a loved one, this is a great price, especially for a general retailer like Amazon (especially if you’re grabbing the classic model). You can also shop the special edition Airwrap at Ulta Beauty or Sephora for a $499 price if you prefer to accrue rewards points there with your cash. If you’re not an Ulta or Sephora shopper, this deal from Amazon is nearly the same (and actually better) right now for the limited edition color, and I wouldn’t wait on it.
