Nope! The PS Store is free to access for anyone as long as you have a PlayStation console and online account. The PS Store has monthly rotating deals, a category for games under $20, fan-favorite titles, and even a select back catalog of classic PS1/2/3 games. But suppose you want access to even better discounts and exclusive free games every month, along with online multiplayer. In that case, it’s worth at least investing in the PlayStation Plus Essential membership, which is the basic package. The PlayStation Plus Extra tier gives you access to the entire PS4 catalog, and the Premium membership gives you access to the entire Classics Catalogue as well as exclusive demos and discounts.
