How to preorder the new iPhone 16 (and get one free)

June Wan/ZDNET

On Monday, Apple announced the iPhone 16 lineup at the “It’s Glowtime” event in Cupertino, California. The new iPhones — the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max — are the first designed for Apple Intelligence.

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus include a new A18 processor that 35% less power than the iPhone 15’s A16 Bionic, and runs a 6-core CPU that’s 30% faster. Other notable iPhone 16 features include a Camera Control button, an Action button, and a boost in battery life. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus come in five colors: ultramarine, teal, pink, white, and black.
